Chaim’s broad real estate practice focuses on financings, debt purchases and sales, acquisitions, joint ventures, leasing, development and management agreements, and restructurings. His precise solutions have earned the trust of many clients, including financial institutions, private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, REITS, and high-net-worth individuals and their families. Chaim’s expertise encompasses a broad range of real estate asset classes, including hotel, office, retail and commercial spaces, as well as multi-family buildings.
Chaim joined Davies after nine years of practice at leading U.S. law firms.
Representative Experience
- Acted for Terra Firma Capital Corporation, a real estate finance company, in the formation of its first debt fund, which will be used for financing residential land and lot inventory for developers and landowners in the growing U.S. housing market.
- Acted for PSP Investments in its acquisition, through a joint venture, of a portfolio of 1750 single family rental homes.
- Acted for Public Sector Pension Investment Board in connection with the acquisition by way of a joint venture with Henley Holding Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, of a 58 million square foot portfolio of core industrial properties held by investment funds owned and managed by Exeter Property Group for US $3.15 billion.
