Ryan Shpritz is the Managing Principal of KSN. He concentrates his practice in real estate and corporate law as they relate to community associations (condominium, homeowner, and townhome) and landlords.

He has counseled hundreds of clients on numerous facets of association management including drafting of by-laws and declarations, dispute resolution, service agreements, liability concerns, developer issues, collections, real estate property tax appeal, and foreclosure.

Ryan assists condominium associations in working with developers in the complex process of condominium deconversion (or “Section 15 sale”).  In this process, a buyer or developer purchases a condominium property and converts the property into apartment rentals.

Utilizing his experience and industry knowledge, Ryan has written and contributed to numerous articles featured in publications such as the Chicago Tribune, Condo Lifestyles, and The Chicagoland Cooperator. He is also a frequent speaker on issues pertaining to community associations.

Ryan is a member of Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit’s Executive Committee and is closely involved with the firm’s strategic development and advancement. Additionally, he is responsible for directing the firm’s marketing and business development efforts.

Ryan Shpritz received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign Urbana and is a graduate of the Chicago-Kent College of Law. He joined Kovitz Shifrin Nesbit in 2001.
