Gordon Hunt is a principal at Biskind, Hunt & Semro, PLC and practices in the areas of real estate transactions and development.
Mr. Hunt’s practice includes the representation of developers, homebuilders, sophisticated real estate investors and other property owners in the sale, acquisition, financing and development of real property. Mr. Hunt has been the lead attorney in the development and sale of property in master-planned communities including DC Ranch, Silverleaf, One Scottsdale, Eastmark and Marley Park, and has played a significant role in other master-planned communities, including Superstition Springs, Verrado® and Forest Highlands.
Mr. Hunt has represented real estate lenders and borrowers in connection with new loans, loan modifications, workouts and foreclosures, and sales of real estate out of lenders’ portfolios. Mr. Hunt also has handled municipal ground leases involving airpark properties, the sale of several golf course properties, and the sale and acquisition of commercial, industrial and residential property, and undeveloped land.
Mr. Hunt’s professional affiliations include the State Bar of Arizona’s Real Property Section and a past member of its Executive Council, and the Maricopa County Bar Association. Mr. Hunt is the past President of the Board of the Accent on Kids Endowment Foundation.
Mr. Hunt received his B.A. (with distinction) from the University of Arizona in 1984 and his J.D. (cum laude) from Georgetown University Law Center in 1988 where he was the Research Editor of the American Criminal Law Review, 1987-1988. Mr. Hunt has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2009.
